how green we are?

hi! i know that i just wrote about the enviroment, but it is an interesting topic and i will talk about it again =) As i said before,  i think that websites are best way to know about eco fiendly´s practices, a very useful web may be www.yoreciclo.cl. There you will find a lot of ways to care about aour planet.

Many people is doing a very hard work to care about our enviroment arround the world, i think there is no reason to ignore it. Nowadays the people can obtain information about a lot of practices environmentally some other web sites are  ecologiaverde.com, veoverde and la bioguia.com.

I adopted some easy habits like take all the plastic and glass bottles that we occupied and to take them to recicling points, but i dont do it all the time.

I usually ride mi bike to go to the university, but i use the transantiago bus sistem  mainly. I walk a lot too, with major reason when i have time to do it as i want. In my family when we use the car, we usually ask to each other about their destinies to share the car.

I think that here in Santiago are many groups ONGs and other organizations that are doing their best to care about enviroment, but lamentably, the visibility of these groups is not enought. 

The people of Yo Reciclo is preparing an big event to make people undertand about the indiscriminate use of plastic bags. Pucón is the first chilean town who has regulated the use of these kind of bags, stimulating the people to use bags of tweed or other materials.

We need to keep our natural resources, and make an extra effort to improve our enviroment.

Eco friendly´s web sites and actions.

hi! in this semestrer we are making a comunicational proyect with a website, it calls www.yoreciclo.cl and is a very useful web. There you will find a lot of eco friendly's practices and habits .  

First, I think that is important to the people obtain information about how doing better practices environmentally. I’m talking about some other web sites too like: www.permacultura.cl, www.ecologiaverde.com o www.elmanzano.com.

Personally, in the last year I adopted some habits with which I intend to do a contribution for the world. Humble contribution, but at less is something. In our house we take all the glass bottles that we occupied in the revels, as the bottles of beer or wine and we took them to the trash glass.

A very good idea is to take all plastic bags and wraps and insert them inside of a plastic bottle. With that we obtain in a short time a lot of bag there until the bottles will be very strong, like a brick. The name of this creation is eco-brick because these bottles are occupied in eco-building, for example in ecologic domo or greenhouses.  I think that this is a new form of recycle. Is friendly and  easy.

Really I would doing more eco-practices but almost time I don't have time to implement it. Sometimes the desire is not enough and you have to make an effort extra. I think that I have done nothing conscious to reduce my carbon footprint. But I want to think that my carbon footprint is not very big. I have tried to bring an eco-life because I grew up near the countryside and I know the importance of the nature. We need to keep our natural resources and have a better quality life.

The 20 year old singer Miley Cyrus said to the Rolling Stone magazine that the video of her song called “Wrecking Ball's” was inspired by Sinéad O'Connor's "Nothing Compares 2 U" song. The Irish singer was consulted by a lot of medias, but she decided to write an open letter to Cyrus.

In her blog Sinéad tells to Cyrus that she is being using by the pop industry, and she make a call to the young artist to respect her privacy and her own body.

Sinead thinks that the pop industry encourages young women to use their sex appeal to make money, but without taking care about the feelings and the self respect of the young artist. “The music business doesn't give a shit about you, or any of us. They will prostitute you for all you are worth, and cleverly make you think it´s what YOU wanted” she said.

O´Connor also refers to the words of Cyrus, who said that he took part of her look from Sinéad´s style. The Irish singer said that when she shaved her head, he didn’t do it because it was “cool” it was because she was tired about the industry music and she did it as an act of rebellion.

O´Connor calls Miley to do a real empowerment of herself as a woman saying “I've been in the business long enough to know that men are making more money than you are from you getting naked. It´s really not at all cool”.
